Welcome to the 7th(!) issue of 7 Weekly Wonders by Wondercraft. Today's highlights: Wondercraft gets feelings, tips on how to grow your show, Paul Graham’s essays get a voice, and closing with a quote from our friend Steven Bartlett. 🇬🇧

1. Wondercraft gets feelings! 😀🥹😉

Starting today, you have the capability to add any emotion and accent to any voice, once again changing the way audio content is produced. We're thrilled to be the first platform offering this feature. It's live in the app now, so give it a try or watch our short video to see it in action.

2. Grow your show using social media 📈

After creating your podcast with Wondercraft, the next challenge is growth. In short, social media is key, and we've found the strategies outlined here to be particularly insightful.

3. Paul Graham’s Essays get a voice 🎙️

Paul Graham, Y Combinator's founder, has a wealth of knowledge in his blog, featuring over 200 essays on startups. Not everyone has the time to read, and let's face it, audio can be more engaging. Here are all of PG's Essays in audio form. Don't forget to subscribe, especially since he hinted at dropping a new essay last week.

4. Here's the scoop on what we've been up 🥣

  • We spent a significant part of the week perfecting the emotion and accent variant feature for you. It's now ready to use! Check out this short video to see it in action and then try it out for yourself.
  • Our transcription service with Human QA is now out of beta and available to everyone. This service is included for Pro plan users, but if you're interested in a sample, simply reply to this email, and we'll set you up. 🎙️

5. Here’s what’s coming next 👀

Here's what's high on our agenda for the next updates:

Until now, generating the full track on the Edit page incurred charges for the audio's entire duration, limiting you to using the Preview Functionality without hearing the full audio. Starting next week, you'll only be charged for the segments you edit, enabling full production iteration instead of just previews.

6. How to emotion 🥹

Learn how to introduce feelings and accents to any voice!

  • Emotions: Neutral, Excited, Sad, Calm, and Instructive
  • Accents: American, Australian, British, and Multilingual

Take a quick peek below. This adds 15 more choices per voice, multiplying your voice options by 15x. We're planning to expand the list of accents and emotions, but if there's something specific you're after right now, don't hesitate to reach out.

7. Closing with a Wonderful quote

Stop telling yourself you’re not qualified, good enough or worthy. Growth happens when you start doing the things you’re not qualified to do. - Steven Bartlett
