Welcome to this week’s issue of 7 Weekly Wonders by Wondercraft. Every Friday, we’ll provide you with 7 key updates to keep you informed about the latest developments in the Audio Content space, as well as news from your favourite Audio Studio, Wondercraft.
Today's highlights: our top dubbing victory, how to feature your company's ads on podcasts via Wondercraft, a dive into an exciting new feature, and ending with insights from Gary Vaynerchuk.
1. Wonder of the week
Last week, we focused on the surge of creators dubbing their content with Wondercraft. This week, we're thrilled to share that a 🇪🇸 Spanish-dubbed episode of the School of Greatness has exploded in views, even outperforming its original English counterpart.
2. Let’s Wander
Here’s what’s new in the world of Audio Content:
Recent studies show podcast advertising stands out as one of the most effective ad mediums.
So, what's in it for you?
A major hurdle for small and medium businesses is often just not knowing how to get their ads played on a podcast. Acast's guide demystifies the process. Briefly, you can opt for a host-read ad or a pre-recorded one, which a podcast's mixing team can seamlessly integrate. For pre-recorded ads, simply upload your mp3 to platforms like Acast or Spotify, and they'll handle the placement. The real question then becomes: how do you create that mp3? Wondercraft now makes crafting audio ads as simple as typing, allowing you to use even your own voice. This means getting your business advertised on your favorite podcast is easier than ever.
3. Craft of the week
Every week, we’ll highlight a piece of content created on Wondercraft.
The School of Greatness, a global podcasting giant, now broadcasts in Spanish and Portuguese, thanks to dubbing with Wondercraft. Their Spanish episode, surpassing 1 million views on YouTube, is our highlight craft of the week! The Portuguese version also saw impressive success. Have you started dubbing your content, or are you still sitting on this?
4. Rewind
Here's the scoop on what we've been up to this week:
- We've also been developing Collaborative Features, enabling you to share credits, crafts, voices, and even comment on each other's work. We're aiming to roll this out by mid-March, and some of you already have early access. Interested in getting in on this sooner? Just reply to this email with the user accounts you'd like to link, and we'll hook you up.
5. Sneak Peak
Here's what's high on our agenda for the next updates:
- A lot of you dubbing with Wondercraft have been asking for transcriptions of your podcasts, not just in the original language but in the target language too. Good news—we're on track to offer human-edited transcriptions really soon! If you're keen to try this out as one of our Alpha users, just give us a shout.
6. Crafting Tip
As we've mentioned before, you'll soon have the flexibility to adjust the Emotion & Accent for each voice, with options including:
- Emotions: Neutral, Excited, Sad, Calm, and Instructive
- Accents: American, Australian, British, and Multilingual
Take a quick peek below. This adds 15 more choices per voice, multiplying your voice options by 15x. We're planning to expand the list of accents and emotions, but if there's something specific you're after right now, don't hesitate to reach out.
7. Wonderful Creator Inspiration
Closing with a wonderful quote, from one of our favourite Wondercraft Creators
