One month after being sued by a collective of record labels for infringing on music copyrights, AI music startups Suno and Udio have struck back, claiming that the lawsuit is merely an attempt to stifle competition. Suno stated, “While Suno sees musicians, teachers, and everyday people using a new tool to create original music, the labels see a threat to their market share.” Read more here.
