Wondercraft makes working on audio production as a team a piece of cake. Let’s run through how to start a workspace and collaborate on audio projects in our AI-powered audio studio.

Creating a Workspace

A workspace on Wondercraft acts as your team’s dedicated hub, where everyone can access shared assets, collaborate on audio tracks, and give feedback in real-time. Here’s how to set up and manage your workspace.

1. Getting Started: After signing up or logging into Wondercraft, click on “Workspaces” on the left-hand side of the home page.

2. Create a New Workspace: Follow the simple prompts to create a new workspace. This will be your team’s collaborative area for all audio projects.

3. Invite Team Members: Add your collaborators by sending email invitations. Once they accept, they’ll have access to the workspace and all its assets.

Managing Workspace Members

Keeping your workspace organized is key to successful collaboration. Here’s how to manage your team effectively:

Adding Members: To expand your team, click on the “Manage Members” tab within workspace settings and invite new members via email.

Removing Members: To remove someone from the workspace, navigate to the “Members” section, select the member, and click “Remove”.

Collaborating on Tracks and Assets

Wondercraft allows you to collaborate not just on the script but on all elements of your audio production.

Move a Track to a Workspace

If you’ve already started working on a track in your personal workspace and want to share it with your team:

1. Go to your Personal Workspace and navigate to Tracks under My Projects.

2. Click the three dots next to the track and select Move to Workspace.

3. Choose the target workspace from the dropdown menu. All assets (voice clones, music, etc.) used in the track will be imported into the workspace.

Switching Between Workspaces

You can easily switch between different workspaces by selecting the desired workspace from the left panel under Workspaces. This flexibility allows you to move smoothly between different projects and teams.

Importing Voices and Music into a Workspace

Shared assets like voice clones and music tracks are integral to team collaboration. Here’s how to import them:

Import a Voice: In your Personal Workspace, click on Settings, select Voices, and choose the voice you want to import into a specific workspace.

Gathering Feedback from Team Members and External Parties

Wondercraft makes collecting feedback a breeze, whether it’s from your team or external stakeholders. Here’s how:

Comment on a Track

1. Open the track page or edit page and highlight a portion of the script.

2. Select Comment and leave your feedback. All unresolved comments will appear on the right-hand side, allowing team members to resolve, edit, or delete them as necessary.

Share a Public Link for External Feedback

You can share your audio with people outside of Wondercraft to gather feedback:

1. After generating your audio file, click Export and create a shareable link.

2. Send this link via email, Slack, WhatsApp, or any platform your team uses. Recipients can listen to the audio and view the transcript without needing a Wondercraft account.

Accepting or Leaving a Workspace

Accepting a Workspace Invitation: If you’ve been invited to a workspace, simply navigate to your homepage, where you’ll find the invitation notification. Select Join Workspace, and you’re in!

Leaving a Workspace: If you need to exit a workspace, hover over the workspace on the left panel, click on the three dots, select Manage Workspace, and click the exit icon to confirm your departure.
